Situation update: June 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. CT

Medline continues to work closely with the fire department and local authorities as they respond to the fire at our distribution facility in Tracy, California. We remain focused on supporting the Tracy community, our Medline employees, and healthcare customers across Northern California and beyond as response efforts continue.

We are actively supporting cleanup efforts in the surrounding area. An expert third-party partner is working to safely gather debris in public areas, and we have established a process for residents and businesses to receive assistance with debris removal. Community members can contact Clean Harbors, Medline's expert debris removal partner, at 209-751-1888. This hotline is staffed daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT beginning Monday, June 15.

We have connected with nearly all affected employees and continue to provide onsite and local support, including financial assistance, counseling resources and ongoing communication as we work through next steps together. We remain incredibly grateful that all Medline employees and on-site personnel were safely evacuated and accounted for.

Similarly, we remain intensely focused on serving our customers. Our command center has been operating since the incident, and the team continues to tirelessly execute our network contingency plan and leverage secondary and tertiary distribution centers.

We continued shipping products to healthcare providers throughout the weekend. The vast majority of customer order volume has been addressed through rerouting and redistribution. We are reviewing and expanding inventory across the region and broader network to meet demand and reduce delivery times. We have also increased staffing and transportation capacity, including adding MedTrans drivers and leveraging third-party carriers to accelerate deliveries. Our teams are using real-time data tracking and customer-specific dashboards to help prioritize and fulfill orders as efficiently as possible.

Medline is working cooperatively with local officials and regulatory authorities to assess  potential impacts on the community. We remain in close communication with appropriate agencies and will share additional information as it becomes available.
