Medline has again been named to the Forbes “America’s Best Large Employers” list, this year moving to the 225 spot, up from 260 in 2023. Medline has been included on the list each year since the recognition began in 2016.

A new Forbes article highlights the full list of honorees. The 500 employers were chosen based on an independent survey of over 170,000 U.S. employees from all industry sectors working for companies employing at least 5,000 people within the U.S.

“Survey respondents were asked to evaluate their employer based on a range of criteria including working hours, salary, opportunities for training and promotion, workload expectations, mental health benefits, and diversity within the management team,” according to the Forbes article. “Participants were also asked if they would recommend their employer to others, and were given the chance to rate other employers in their respective industries.”

“We work hard every day to make Medline a company where the best employees want to work and build their careers,” said Jim Boyle, Medline’s chief executive officer. “We are honored to be again recognized on this respected list, and grateful to our employees and peers for their positive feedback.”

Medline is frequently named a “best” and “top” workplace. In 2023, Medline was named to Forbes America’s Best Large Employers, Employers for Women, Employers for New Grads, and Employers by State lists. Medline was also named among Newsweek’s 2023 Americas Greatest Workplaces and the publications’ “Greatest Workplaces” lists for Diversity, Women, and Parents & Families. Medline was among Becker’s 2023 Top 150 Places to Work in Healthcare and a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace for the 13^th year.
