Viewmont Surgery Center names Medline Prime Vendor

Northfield, Ill., Apr. 17 2025 –Today, Medline announced its Prime Vendor agreement with Viewmont Surgery Center  – an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in Hickory, North Carolina, for specialties including, otolaryngology or ear, nose and throat (ENT), orthopedics, total joints, spine and pain management.

After working together for more than a decade, the prime vendor agreement between Viewmont Surgery Center and Medline launched last year as the surgery center doubled in size at its location at 50 13^th Avenue Northeast, Hickory.   Viewmont added three procedure rooms to the existing three operating rooms and fully renovated its existing space 22,298 sq. ft. footprint.

Having served the Catawba Valley region since 2007, Viewmont also added service lines of Spine and head and neck cancer.

Under the terms of the prime vendor agreement, Viewmont Surgery Center has access to Medline’s vast medical-surgical portfolio and supply chain expertise to support its expected growth in lines and specialties. Viewmont can also easily monitor key metrics such as item utilization, contract compliance, price accuracy and spend by product categories with advanced analytics platforms from Medline.
