Northfield, Ill., Oct. 12, 2026 – Medline (Nasdaq: MDLN) today announced it signed a new Prime Vendor agreement with South Carolina Pediatric Alliance (SCPA). Formed through the partnership of Palmetto Pediatrics and Sandhills Pediatrics, two longstanding pediatric practices serving families in the Midlands of South Carolina, SCPA today provides comprehensive pediatric care through 10 locations across the Midlands, with expanded access to care through evening and weekend services. SCPA remains committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families while continuing to grow alongside the communities it serves.
“Having a dependable supply partner is essential to supporting our physicians and clinical teams across every SCPA location,” said Caroline Currin, chief operating officer of South Carolina Pediatric Alliance. “This partnership with Medline will help us create greater consistency across our network, strengthen our day-to-day operations and ensure our teams have the quality supplies they need to provide exceptional care to our patients.”
Through this agreement, SCPA will have access to Medline’s comprehensive brand portfolio of quality medical-surgical products and powerful distribution capabilities to help streamline ordering and timely, reliable delivery of medical supplies. SCPA also will use Medline’s supply chain expertise to help optimize clinic setup, complete PAR-level analysis and increase visibility into its supply chain to make informed operational decisions across the network.
“As we continue to grow, it is important that we look at every opportunity to operate more efficiently and ensure our resources are being used where they have the greatest impact,” said Steve Hatchell, chief financial officer of South Carolina Pediatric Alliance. “Medline stood out as a partner that could help us achieve meaningful savings while maintaining the quality of supplies our teams rely on every day. Those efficiencies ultimately allow us to keep our focus where it belongs, on providing exceptional care to the children and families we serve.”
Brad Miriam, executive vice president of non-acute sales at Medline, said, “We look forward to partnering with South Carolina Pediatric Alliance as they continue to grow and serve communities across South Carolina. We are proud to support them in strengthening their operations and supply management so that they can continue to provide great care for their patients and families.”
