Northfield, Ill., April 1, 2026 – Medline (Nasdaq: MDLN), the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions serving all points of care, announced today it was awarded two supply chain recognitions by the Healthcare Industry Resiliency Collaborative (HIRC), a neutral, nonprofit standardization organization that gives healthcare organizations tools to measure, compare and strengthen supply chain resiliency.
Medline earned the HIRC Highest Member Choice Award for Supplier Partnership, which recognizes suppliers who “engage providers as long-term partners through shared problem-solving, commercial maturity and durable collaboration,” according to HIRC. The recognition is based on nominations from healthcare provider partners and is the highest in HIRC’s supplier partnership award category.
“Peers consistently recognize Medline for approaching providers as long-term partners — sharing risk, co-solving meaningful challenges and investing in collaborative improvements that strengthen continuity of care and supply chain assurance,” said Jesse Schafer, executive director of HIRC. “These partnership behaviors were described as intentional, repeatable and impactful in real-world engagement.”
Medline also received the HIRC Distinguished Member Choice Award for Resiliency, a nomination-based recognition honoring suppliers who “consistently strengthen continuity through operational rigor, demand discipline and real contingency readiness,” according to HIRC.
“This award is for our customers — whom we get up every day to work for — validating the thought and investment that we’ve put into resilience and transparency,” said Marc Phillips, Medline senior vice president, supply chain solutions. “This recognition continues to fuel our market-leading supply chain approach.”
Additionally, Medline renewed its HIRC Transparency Badge, which is awarded to suppliers who have shared standardized, enterprise‑level supply chain visibility information, including manufacturing-site geography and structured resiliency diagnostics, with provider members through HIRC. These recognitions build upon Medline’s previous supply chain honors, including HIRC Diamond-level Resiliency Badges for manufacturing and distribution, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to supply chain resiliency, transparency and customer collaboration.
“With a relentless customer focus being top-of-mind across the organization, resiliency has always been a key part of our strategy,” said Joshua Wolfe, Medline senior vice president, inventory management. “This badge reaffirms our commitment to transparency and collaboration across the healthcare supply chain.”
