Northfield, Ill., Nov. 5, 2025 – Medline announced, as of February 2025, that it has entered into a multi-year Prime Vendor agreement with Connecticut Children’s, a not-for-profit health system based out of Hartford, Conn.
As part of the agreement, Medline will provide Connecticut Children’s access to its comprehensive portfolio of medical-surgical supplies and capital equipment to support the expansion of its 205-bed health system. Connecticut Children’s signaled its interest in returning to Medline after five years because of Medline’s ongoing investments in supply resilience and the trusted relationship with Medline’s local rep.
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, Medline was a vital partner for Connecticut Children’s, playing a significant role in helping the supply chain team mitigate widespread supply shortages,” said Will Lee Sr., director of supply chain and support service, Connecticut Children’s. “The health system’s strategic plan and Medline’s investment in long-term stability and reliability make this renewed collaboration both timely and logical.”
Said Brandon Burton, acute care sales representative, Medline: “We are proud to be trusted by Connecticut Children’s at this exciting time in their history. Medline serves organizations of all sizes, from critical access hospitals to large health systems, and we are excited to help Connecticut Children’s. We are looking forward to partnering with Connecticut Children’s to help improve supply chain efficiencies and support consistency in their clinical outcomes.”
