The two-day event – held on Tuesday, February 28, and Wednesday, March 1 – included 102 Congressional meetings with the goal of advocating for equitable surgical reimbursement.

The Outpatient Surgery Quality and Access Act of 2023 “seeks to increase Medicare patients’ access to ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), ensure adequate reimbursement and provide better quality metrics across sites of care.”
