Amanda Laabs
Executive Vice President, Medline Brand
Amanda Laabs has been executive vice president of the surgical products vertical at Medline since 2023 and is responsible for overseeing 11 Medline brand product divisions, mostly in the perioperative environment.
After starting her career at DuPont, where she worked with leading healthcare companies in a medical-device sales role, Laabs joined Medline’s medical textiles division in 2006 and spent her early years with the company in product management roles. In 2013, she accepted her first GM role leading the surgical drapes and gowns division, as well as the personal protection division. From 2017 to 2020, she led the $600 million Dynacor kitting division, which involved integrating the newly acquired Centurion Medical Products company. In 2020, with that integration successfully completed, Laabs added the larger $1.5 billion surgical kitting business to her portfolio.
Laabs is executive sponsor of ALMA, Medline’s Hispanic and Latinx employee resource group, and a strong supporter of Medline’s mentoring programs for women.
She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in marketing and management science from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Notre Dame.
