Grayslake, Ill., May 5, 2026 – Medline (Nasdaq: MDLN), the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions serving all points of care, and PowerFlex, a clean-technology solutions company focused on making transformations to carbon-free electrification and transportation possible, recently unveiled a completed 5.2-megawatt solar installation at Medline’s flagship distribution center in Grayslake, Ill.

The investment includes more than 11,500 solar panels and is projected to produce 5,900 megawatt hours of energy per year. This installation is Medline’s 12th solar project and adds to the more than 59,000 existing solar panels at Medline facilities as of Dec. 31, 2025.

“Medline is proud to support a more resilient healthcare system,” said Francesa Olivier, vice president of sustainability. “This latest installation advances our efforts to reduce environmental impact across our operations while making healthcare run better.”

Added Elizabeth Davies, mayor of the Village of Grayslake, “Since establishing its distribution center in Grayslake, Medline has demonstrated its commitment to being an integral part of our community. Innovations such as the new solar panel array highlight Medline’s dedication to responsible growth and respect for the unique character of Grayslake. These investments empower our community to flourish while preserving and celebrating its rich heritage.”

PowerFlex was also on hand at the unveiling to speak about the years-long relationship between the two companies.

“Seeing this project come to life at Medline’s Grayslake facility is an exciting milestone for both of our teams,” said Nate McMurry, chief commercial officer at PowerFlex. “What began as a shared vision is now a large-scale rooftop solar installation that will help power one of Medline’s key distribution centers with renewable energy. This project reflects how strong partnerships can turn ambitious sustainability goals into real operational impact, and we’re proud to support Medline as it continues investing in a more resilient and energy-efficient future.”
