UC Health enters into lab Prime Vendor agreement with Medline

Northfield, Ill., Nov. 12, 2025 – Medline today announced a lab Prime Vendor agreement with UC Health, an academic health system affiliated with the University of Cincinnati. UC Health operates more than 60 locations, including two dedicated lab sites, serving communities across the Cincinnati region.

As part of the agreement, signed in July 2025, Medline will now begin servicing UC Health’s laboratory locations, expanding on its existing role as Prime Vendor for medical-surgical and physician office supplies.

The contract provides pricing transparency and item alignment to help streamline UC Health’s purchasing and sourcing processes. This automation helps to reduce delays and enhance supply chain efficiency, further supporting UC Health’s clinical and operational goals.
